Another lovely digital stamp design by
Design 2 Delight!! I experimented a little bit this week with trying to do some shadow coloring. Well, I don't have any copic markers so I tried it with map pencils then tried to see if a blending pen would work to help hide some of the pencil lines. It might work a little better if I don't use just plain cardstock, and use a better watercolor paper maybe. It was fun to try something new anyway.
The card is made from Kraft cardstock at 5x5. I added orange, rust and brown strips of cardstock and then added some dark brown twine around the front and tied with yellow & an orange button on the side. After placing the Autumn Harvest image raised with pop dots, I then decided it needed a little more. So, I added the bling and stamp "happy Fall" from PTI.
This stamp image inspired me to get my fall decorations out! I painted our front door black so it would match the black shutters all along the front of the house. Then made a trip to our local Michael's store, purchased some fall flowers and leaves and put together a grapevine wreath to hang on the newly painted front door. We had a cold front come through today, and it has been WONDERFULLY cooler! The high was only in the upper 50s today.
